What a way to start Christmas. THE ONE BIG SUNDAY event organised by Nick Coates was super occasion. [Well done Nick ]. What the evening brought home was the great spirit there is in the club. Thanks go to all the Entertainers for making it such a success. and to the Barker family for all the hard work they put in on the night. Also thanks go the Grosvenor Hotel for hosting the event and laying on some great food.
Here is a flavour of the night. Sorry about the quality of the pictures the varying light conditions made it difficult.
The evening started with the very entertaining Compare Kevin Precious ripping into most people in the room which caused a lot of laughter. Kevin then introduced Folk Singer Talicza Stevens who entertained with some great songs while the meal was being eaten. After this a feast of entertainment followed with Comedian Piere Hollins causing a laugh a minute. Next came amazing group made up of our Chairman Paul Barker, Stuart Mawson an ex -Stockbridge player and now committee member and a brilliant young drummer who filled in at the last minute. The trio were brilliant and had the room Rocking. Next came another club member, the Singing sensation Danny Waite a pleasure to listen to. Just when you thought things could not get better Stockbridges own John and Edward [ players Tich and Ryan ] burst into the room and and gave a great performance to the song Ghostbusters. A special evening was rounded off by dancing to Dj Allan Waites Disco
