Good News

Another hurdle has been cleared in our efforts to comply with all the grading requirements to stay in the Wessex League. One of the rules states we must have clubhouse facilities. Today it was agreed that our use of the White Hart Inn for after match refreshments meets the requirements. We now have to get over the final hurdle and build an extension to the changing rooms [ See ground improvements page ].

Trevor Dance has stood down as club Chairman and the new Chairman is Paul Barker dad of our footballing twins Mike and Dave.   We think this is a great appointment, Paul will bring a breath of fresh air to the club. We have had a tough few years trying to upgrade the facilities at the ground and there is still more to do. We believe that Paul  is the man to lead us to a bright future. Trevor who has been a great chairman will now take the role of  Vice-Chairman.

Great offer by ex Chairman. See ground improvement page.

Vice -Chairman Trevor Dance and Vice President Guy Boney Q.C. are trying to sort out our problems in getting a grant from the Football Foundation for ground improvements.

Fund Raising.

We desperately need more people in the club to help raise some money for the day to day running of the club and the ground improvements. There is only so much the few can do

Many thanks to the WHITE HART INN STOCKBRIDGE for their continued support of the club

We have had superb support from the Wessex League in our efforts to obtain a grant from the Football Foundation to improve our changing rooms. We thank them for that support.
