Stockbridge have arranged an extra pre-season fixture – it is at the Recreation Ground on Tuesday night 7.45pm kick off against AFC Totton under 18’s who play in the Hampshire County Under 18 League Division 1.

On Sunday 30th July Stockbridge FC are pleased to host Southampton Women’s FC as they play Lewes Ladies. Both teams are part of the Women’s Premier League.
Lewes Ladies made national headlines earlier this month when they become the first club in the country to pay their women footballers the same as their men.
The fixture was arranged at short notice after the Southampton team were let down by the club who were providing the pre-season venue. The team were in danger of having to cancel previously arranged fixtures before Stockbridge and other clubs stepped in with offers of help.

Manager Rob Blandford and Coaches Simon Clarke and Tom Ridley have been really impressed with the effort, application and skill shown by the players coming along to the pre-season training sessions.

Every session has had between 20 and 30 players involved – with several new faces among the group. Nearly all the talented youngsters from last season have been involved and the management team hope to have a squad of 20 or so players signed on by the middle of July.

Training moves to Wednesday evenings – 7pm start from 5th July

 Pre-Season Fixtures

We welcome Hampshire oldest football club, FORDINGBRIDGE TURKS. The club was formed in 1868 and is a club steeped in tradition but with a progressive approach. They have a vibrant youth section and the current first team manager Fran Mathers will no doubt have a number of players who have been part of that youth set-up.

Finally, we are pleased to welcome TOTTON and ELING, another Wessex League club this time from Division One. James Phillips brings his team from Millers Park to Stockbridge. This fixture will be a great test for the Stockbridge side and a good test to show just what is required if the club are to achieve their aim of a return to Wessex League Football.

The following fixtures are confirmed, all at The Recreation Ground, 3pm kick off
